Q: What does “restaurant quality” mean?

A: Our recipes are created by innovative chefs who add an elevated twist to make each dish special. What’s never added is artificial colors, flavors, or margarine. Just the highest quality ingredients and made-from scratch taste to make any meal memorable.

FREEZING

Q: Is it okay to freeze Main St Bistro scalloped, mashed, baked, and oven roasted potatoes?

A: Our scalloped, mashed, baked, and oven roasted potato sides are not intended to be frozen prior to heating. While the product can be frozen, freezing may negatively impact the potato texture and sauce consistency.

Q: How do I heat it up if I did freeze the product?

A: While we don’t recommend freezing any of our refrigerated sides, if you did choose to do so, we recommend that you always thaw the product completely in the refrigerator prior to heating. Products should always be frozen prior to the “Use By Date” printed on the package.

INGREDIENTS AND MANUFACTURING

Q: Where are Main St Bistro products made?

A: Main St Bistro side dishes are made at facilities located across North America. Because our products are freshly refrigerated, we aim to make and distribute the products nearest the regions where they are sold for maximum freshness and quality.

Q: Are your products gluten-free?

A: Our plants make many fresh recipes from a wide variety of ingredients, so we cannot guarantee a “gluten free” manufacturing environment for any single product. Although we have chosen not to make gluten-free claims on our products, each ingredient is clearly stated on the packaging label so that you can make an informed choice about our foods and your own gluten-tolerance level.

Q. Are there any peanuts or tree nuts in your facility where the products are made?

A: For the safety of our consumers with severe nut-allergies, please be aware that nuts are stored in our facilities and may be processed on the same equipment as other products. Despite rigorous allergen control and sanitation procedures in place to minimize the risk of cross contamination, we cannot claim with 100% certainty that some trace levels of nuts could not be present in any product we produce.
